This lit the fire within Pastor Carr and stirred up the confirmation that he is called to a life dedicated to ministry spreading a message of Hope, Reconciliation, and Restoration to all persons whom God sends across his path.
In 2011 after realizing some serious concerns within the youth and young adult church community, Pastor Carr founded A Greater Dimension Ministries; which was to be a connectional and empowerment
ministry tearing down barriers that divide us from fellowshipping, worshipping, and working together.
In 2014 after serving in a role as an assistant pastor at Eastwick United Methodist Church, Rev. Carr accepted the call to the pastorate and under the leadership and guidance of the Rev. Dr. Michael Roberts, began his journey to itinerant ministry. In July of 2015 Rev. Carr received his first pastoral appointment serving Wharton-Wesley UMC in southwest Philadelphia.
Later that same year Rev. Carr founded the Philadelphia United Methodist Mass Choir. Through this ministry, Rev. Carr seeks to bring members of various United Methodist churches together, connecting in
fellowship and music to glorify God. In January of 2017 Rev. Carr received an additional pastoral charge in north Philadelphia pastoring Midtown Parish UMC. In July of 2019, Pastor Carr was appointed as
